Lake Mary Jane, Lake Hart, Orlando, Camping, Fishing, Tubing, Skiing, Wake boarding, Protected Beach, Camping

Looking to combine camping and boating fun into one action packed weekend. We have an escape for you. Moss Park, Orange County’s largest park is on the Southeast side of the city spans 1551 acres. This oasis of nature is right around the corner in SE Orlando and is well secluded from the hustle and bustle of Orlando. Moss Park is natural Florida at its best, with plenty of heron, rabbits, deer and other family-friendly critters in plain view. Large trees - appropriately covered in moss - canvas the park, providing shade at almost every turn.
The park provides two boat ramps to two different lakes, two playgrounds, pavilions, swimming facilities, ball fields, campsites, hiking trails, picnic areas with grilles, recreations programs, RV campsites, and volleyball courts.
Both Lake Hart and Lake Mary Jane have access ramps from the park and are clean and a blast to boat on. For the avid water sports enthusiasts, the day can start early. Get out for a glassy smooth water ski or wakeboard run. Come back and enjoy a big breakfast under the heavy oak canopy. Just when the day heats up, pack a lunch and head out on the water for the day. Pull the family on their favorite water toys until their arms are sore! Then relax in the water or go cruise around the lake looking at the wildlife and houses. Come in for a nice nap and head out for the sunset run. Enjoy a day with little or no structure and unwind.
The campsites are clean and very large with mother approved CLEAN bathrooms and showers. The kids love riding their bikes and playing on the huge playground that is very close to the water.
The park is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m. and admission is $1 per person. Campsites are $10 for Orange County Residents and $15 for the general public. There are discounts for Senior Citizens. Pavilions can be reserved for $50 per day for up to 100 people. The park is located 4 miles Southeast of Narcoossee Road on Moss Park Road.
